Our Client, a renowned global pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to support global financial operations for a leading pharmaceutical organization’s newly established Global Record-to-Report (RTR) Hub in Cork, Ireland. This role requires a hands-on expert to drive incident resolution, govern change requests (CRs), and recommend industry best practices (IBPs) for SAP FI/CO solutions. The position is critical to ensuring seamless financial operations and alignment with SAP best practices.

This is a contractual for 6 months, with the likelihood of extension. The selected candidate will need to be on-site at the client's Cork, Ireland office 2-3 days/week.

The Role.

• Provide hands-on SAP FI/CO support for incident management, troubleshooting, and system optimization
  
• Govern and review Change Requests (CRs), ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards
  
• Recommend and implement SAP IBPs (Industry Best Practices) to enhance system efficiency and scalability
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Cork’s global RTR hub operations
  
• Conduct system audits, resolve configuration issues, and ensure data integrity in FI/CO modules
  
• Mentor junior team members and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  
• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA trends and advancements to drive innovation in financial processes
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• SAP Certification in FI/CO (mandatory)
  
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration, implementation, and support
  
• Deep expertise in Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, financial closing, and integration with SD/MM modules
  
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or BPC is a plus
  
• Strong understanding of CR governance, incident management (ITIL), and SAP security protocols
  
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector preferred
