A client is seeking a SAP Enterprise Architect for a direct hire opportunity in the Chicago area. This resource will be responsible for overseeing the design, development and implementation of the pharmaceutical company’s complex SAP solutions. This resource will lead the technical vision and partner with business technology to ensure alignment with business decisions. There will be various stakeholders to communicate with and you’ll be responsible for guiding teams through the scalable operation of the SAP architecture.

Other responsibilities:

•Define the overall SAP architecture roadmap & vision, considering future business needs, technology trends, and integration with other systems

•Partner with functional BTS leads and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into a forward thinking SAP strategy that extends across multiple functions.

•Lead the design and development of comprehensive SAP solutions, including data models, workflows, interfaces, and system configurations.

Requirements:

- 12+ years of SAP enterprise level experience

- Experience with multiple modules of SAP

- HANA experience

- Has lead multiple large scale, upgrades, migrations and implementations as a functional architect - Ability to partner and formulate strong partnerships with technology, business, and stakeholders
