We are now looking for an SAP Data Migration Lead to our rapidly growing local SAP Consulting Team.

In this role you’ll be responsible of leading the Data Migration activities in a client project. Our culture supports and expects you to provide expert guidance and utilize experience on leading practices in your specialty areas for the whole project team. The common goal for us and the client is for the team to acquire a good understanding of business processes and be able to offer the best solution to meet the business needs. You will have a key role in shaping the solution and direction of the project as well as great opportunity to pursue your passion and put your skills to good use together with the premier specialists within SAP Practice in Finland and broadly within Nordics and Europe.

Why You

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration professional, who has an appetite for delivering sustainable, business-driven projects and being excited to cooperate with the largest companies and well-known brands. You enjoy engaging with clients to understand their requirements from which you’re able to effectively scope and define solution options for key challenges in data management, data maintenance and data migration areas providing subject matter expertise with a good awareness of SAP integration points and associated technologies within the area. Our professionals appreciate effective communication and great interpersonal skills while facing each other as well as the clients.

This role includes and thus you are expected to be able to:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration plan, including extraction, transformation, and validation which ensures data quality and governance by implementing best practices for cleansing, enrichment and validation
• Lead the data team through the scope, extraction, mapping, and loading of both the master data sets & transactional data sets from multiple sources into SAP system through the project phases and go-live
• Work closely and effectively with functional teams to align data migration with business requirements

Additionally, to ensure smooth start and succeeding in the role, it is required from the applicant to:

• Hold a master’s degree or similar relevant educational background with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Data related topics such as Master Data Management, Data Migration, Data Quality, MDG or other
• Have previous experience from SAP S/4 Hana implementation or other big data migration projects
• Possess operational and organizational knowledge of master data models and standards as well as Data Migration Methodology (ETL)
• Be experienced with various data migration tools and solutions that apply to SAP data migration implementations (SAP Migration Cockpit, Syniti, SNP, MDG, etc.)
• Understand well SAP system’s general architecture; broad knowledge of business functions with specific knowledge of master and transactional data objects in SAP business processes
• Effective interpersonal skills and experience of developing strong client relationships, building trust and acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects of SAP Data Migration
• Ability to make complex analysis and communicate it in a concise and clear manner, appropriately tailored to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities
• Have team player attitude and hunger to develop new professional skills
• Communicate fluently in English with proficiency in Finnish language seen as advantage
• Be currently located in Finland and possess a valid residence permit. For this role we do not offer relocation
