The Project Manager Data & Analytics is part of a global team of professionals in the IT and Digital solutions Team supporting the global Markem-Imaje (MI) business.
The Project Manager D&A has to frame and execute the Analytics roadmap defined with the main business stakeholders. He/She will partner with IT colleagues in IT Applications, IT Infrastructure, Dover Information Technology, and with specific MI functional team such as Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial Operations.
The role should evolve versus the management of the IT analytics Team (5 people).
What you will do:
- Drive and execute Analytics projects (SAP BW, Microsoft Power BI)
- Help clarifying the Functional requirements with the business
- Play a role as technical referent for IT and for the business
- Own the build phase and Go-Live of Analytics projects
- Ensure that the projects are delivered on time, on budget without impacting system availability.
- Partner with the business stake holders to help frame and prioritize the analytics projects roadmap
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of the global Analytics architecture.
- Ensure availability of the solutions by leading the support and evolution activities.
- Work closely with other members of the team and other departments, third-party companies, and Dover’s shared services to achieve the optimal service level.
- Deliver proper documentation.
- Ensure cross training with the other team members.
What you need to have:
- Knowledge of both SAP BW (7.5) (MUST) and Microsoft Power BI. The knowledge of the Hana database would be a plus.
- Experience in Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power platform would be a plus.
- Experience in managing projects related to Data & Analytics.
- 5+ years of professional IT experience in a substantial role related to Data & Analytics.
- Potential and willingness to grow versus a management role
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
- Knowledge and experience with international context.
- Proficient interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Understanding of both current and emerging technologies and supporting best practices.
- Organizational skills paired with a hands-on mentality and independent and autonomous working approach. Identify procedural issues on your own, propose solutions.
- High level of English.
- Readiness to work from our current location at 39 Farbiarska Street in Warsaw till the 2nd quarter of 2025, when we are opening our new facility at 105 Katowicka Avenue in Kajetany.
