Our client an independently owned and operated wholesaler and distributor of prescription pharmaceuticals is seeking an SAP Business One, Technical Developer to join their growing team in Edison. It is a full-time permanent position. They are looking for someone to assist in customizing, integrating, and enhancing our SAP Business One (SAP B1) ERP system to meet a company's specific business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Development and Customization:

• Create custom modules and add automations to existing modules (and develop add-ons) using SAP Business One SDK (Software Development Kit), primarily with C# or VB.NET and with utilizing the UI API and DI API to integrate the UI to the database and with using Boyum B1 Usability Package
• Add Customizations to SAP B1 functionalities using tools like SAP B1 Visual Studio, Boyum B1 Usability Package Universal functions (Macros, Line Loops, SQL Reports and Messages), FMS, Alerts, Post/Pre transaction notifications, adding UDF, UDTs and Custom Object creation

Queries and Reporting:

• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting or data manipulation using B1 Visual Studio
• Design SAP B1 reports and forms and KPI widgets using Crystal Reports, SAP B1 Query Generator, Boyum UP, Pervasive Analytics and other built-in tools (Power BI knowledge would be a big plus).
• Automatic document generation configurations based on business logic

Integration:

• Integrate SAP B1 with other applications (e.g., e-commerce platforms, CRM systems) using Service Layer/APIs for REST-based communication or DI API, Service Layer, or B1if (Integration Framework).

Technical Support and Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot issues, debug customizations, and support users.
• Maintain and upgrade custom-developed add-ons and integrations.

Documentation:

• Produce technical documentation for custom developments, interfaces, and integrations.
• Soft Skills & Functional KnowledgeUnderstand business workflows (inventory, accounting, sales, purchasing, etc.).
