The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a leading Electronics manufacturing organisation who are seeking a permanent SAP BI/HANA Developer to join their team in Ajka or Budapest in Hungary.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of the SAP BI system providing hands-on expertise in application deployment and maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop, implement, and support SAP Business Intelligence reporting solutions for multiple business units, including the development of HANA calculation views to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Data modelling, extraction, staging, loading, transformation, and reporting utilizing the SAP HANA / SAC environment.
• System configuration, developing functional specifications, testing, and overseeing daily maintenance activities.
• Meeting or exceeding customer expectations and delivering to critical project timelines by effectively managing and coordinating complex IT initiatives.
• Oversee both technically and functionally, other Software Business Analysts in a team environment to manage software development and support functions.
• Act as a liaison between sales analysts and programming staff in the analysis, design, functional configuration, development, testing, and maintenance of SAP BI to support product development and ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with project team members to align with production schedules and end-user department requirements.

Technical Skills Desired:

• Significant experience working with SAP BI, specifically using SAP HANA
• Experience working within an IT function with some programming experience.
• Knowledge of scripting languages including SQL or ABAP is desired
• Experience working with reporting tools including WEBI, Tableau with SAC is desired.
