Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant with DB2 Migration Experience🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant with proven experience in DB2 database migrations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of SAP system landscapes, upgrades, migrations, and hands-on experience managing SAP on DB2 environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end DB2 database migration (on-prem to cloud or cross-platform) in SAP environments.
• Handle SAP BASIS administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting across SAP NetWeaver systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.).
• Support SAP system copies, client copies, and backup/restore strategies.
• Perform kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and transport management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for successful project delivery.
• Maintain SAP systems performance, conduct health checks, and perform root cause analysis for system issues.
• Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configuration and testing.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP BASIS Administrator.
• 3+ years of DB2 database administration and migration experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration points with DB2.
• Experience with SUM, SWPM, SPAM/SAINT, and transport management.
• Proficient in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Solution Manager (SolMan).
• Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of OS-level commands (Linux/Unix/Windows) and system scripting is a plus.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP BASIS certification is a plus.
• Exposure to HANA DB, SAP CAR, and other databases is advantageous.
• Experience in SAP system migrations using DMO is a strong plus.
