Role Description

This is a contract role for an SAP Basis Administrator. The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for managing the SAP environment, performing system backups, and ensuring system availability and performance. Daily tasks include installing and configuring SAP systems, applying patches and updates, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues. The role also requires collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure the integrity and security of the SAP systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and upgrades
  • Skills in system backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of SAP system monitoring and maintenance
  • Proficiency in applying patches and updates
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant SAP certification is a plus
