Job Description: SAP ABAP Developer Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation in ABAP, a problem-solving mindset, and be available for immediate joining. Project management skills or experience in coordinating with functional teams will be considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs to meet business requirements. Develop and optimize reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and conversions (RICEFW). Write efficient, high-quality ABAP code using best practices and ensure adherence to development standards. Work on S/4HANA-specific developments, such as CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori elements. Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Debug and troubleshoot SAP issues, ensuring seamless performance and user experience. Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables. Optimize and tune existing ABAP programs for better performance. Maintain and enhance IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits. Document technical specifications, test cases, and user guides for developed solutions. Support go-live and post-go-live activities, ensuring the resolution of any technical issues. Utilize project management skills for task prioritization, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines. Key Requirements 5-6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 1-2 projects in S/4HANA environments. Proficiency in core ABAP areas, including: Classical and Interactive Reports ALV Reporting Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, BAPI) Module Pool Programming Forms (Smart Forms and Adobe Forms) Experience in S/4HANA-specific tools like CDS Views, OData services, and ABAP on HANA. Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services. Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development is an added advantage. Experience in working with interfaces to third-party systems. Ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues in a time-sensitive environment. Excellent understanding of SAP architecture and data models for FI, SD, MM, and other modules. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with teams and stakeholders. Immediate joiner is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications Certification in SAP ABAP or SAP S/4HANA Development. Exposure to SAP Workflow development.
