Job Purpose:

To design, implement, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions to achieve defined business goals, ensuring high-quality deliverables and optimal system performance.

Key Accountabilities:

·       Develop SAP ABAP programs in Module Pool, ALV, Smart Forms, Enhancements, and related technologies.

·       Collaborate with business users to understand detailed requirements and provide effective SAP ABAP solutions.

·       Consult with cross-functional teams, including SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, and HR, to deliver a consistent user experience.

·       Write and optimize ABAP code based on technical specifications and conduct rigorous usability testing.

·       Ensure timely completion of development tasks in accordance with project schedules and resource allocation.

·       Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement necessary modifications post-deployment.

·       Conduct end-user training sessions and create comprehensive documentation.

·       Stay updated with the latest SAP advancements, tools, and best practices through continuous learning and research.

Eligibility Criteria / Desired Candidate Profile:

·       Experience: Minimum 3+ years of strong experience in SAP ABAP Development, including RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow).

·       Technical Expertise:

o   Proficiency in ABAP development with hands-on experience in MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, and HR modules.

o   In-depth understanding of ASAP methodology, particularly the ABAP role in SAP implementations, customizations, and development cycles.

o   Strong knowledge of database table operations and simple/intermediate reporting.

o   Expertise in performance tuning, SQL trace tools, runtime analysis, and code inspection.

o   Familiarity with SAP project models and ABAP responsibilities throughout project phases.

o   Ability to interpret functional specifications and create detailed technical designs.

o   Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, and RFC integrations.
