Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming, extensive experience in SAP development, and a deep understanding of business processes to provide efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions based on business requirements.
• Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects) in SAP.
• Work on ABAP on HANA, including AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and CDS (Core Data Services) views.
• Develop and optimize ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and SmartForms/SAP Scripts.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs to resolve issues efficiently.
• Work on performance tuning to optimize existing ABAP programs.
• Support SAP system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal business disruptions.
• Work on OData services and integrate with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Develop and maintain SAP Workflows for business process automation.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ABAP developers.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP programming, RICEF objects, and performance optimization.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA, AMDP, and CDS views.
• In-depth knowledge of BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with ALV reporting, SmartForms, and SAP Scripts.
• Experience in developing OData services and integrating SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in SAP system upgrades and migrations.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation projects.
• Knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Exposure to SAP BW/BI and integration with SAP ABAP.
