Description: The purpose of this position is to design, develop and maintain ABAP based applications in our S/4Hana environment. This includes supporting current custom ABAP applications within our global manufacturing, sales and distribution environments. Many of these applications integrate with external systems via service calls. Responsibilities: Providing the best S/4Hana functionality in the industry by leveraging ABAP, IDocs, Custom Functions and Classes, Smart Forms/SAP Script, CDS and Fiori interfaces. (40%) o Suggest solutions which leverage S/4Hana toolsets and best practices. o Blueprinting, configuration, testing, training and post implementation support of custom applications o Providing clear documentation and participating in Knowledge Transfer with the team. o Design, code and correct large and/or complex programs and program modifications as custom development, or within an existing application Determine possible enhancements and fixes to our custom applications by providing technical assessments, programming alternatives and detailed technical specifications, identifying the impact on business processes and system resources (20%) Ensuring stability to our applications by resolving application problems quickly and identifying their root causes to implement proactive monitoring and prevention (20%) Delivering a high-quality and bug free applications by coordinating and participating in testing to adhere to quality control standards (10%) o Maintaining and executing automated test scripts (Tosca and Neoload) Conducting unit, integration and user acceptance testing to validate functionality (10%) Personal Characteristics Earns and shows Trust and Respect Team Player (Dependable, Collaborative) Curious and Eager to Learn Customer-centric and Service minded – ability to interact with all levels of users (end-users/executives) Shows Technical Competence and Aptitude Forward Thinking with ability to understand the Big Picture Good communication skills Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Integration with 3rd party products 5+ years in IT systems development and support in a manufacturing, sales and distribution, or horticultural company 3+ years doing hands on development using SAP ABAP – related to S/4HANA, MM, PP, FI & SD modules. Includes SAP development tools (SAP Service Marketplace, Eclipse, SAP Notes search and SDN, performance tuning) ABAP and ABAP OO Skills Perform end-user training as well as internal cross-training to other team members Understanding of development methodologies such as ASAP, Agile, ITIL or equivalent Experience with 2 or more of the following programming and reporting tools (SQL, LSMW, Data Dictionary, CATT, Smart Forms/SAPScript, IDoc, ALV, EDI/XML, CDS, security & authorization profiles) MS Windows environment and Office applications DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE SAP BAPI, IDoc, EDI processing and use of PI Knowledge and understanding of SAP Fiori and S/4 HANA Experience with SAP RestFul Application programming for Fiori applications Tricentis Tosca regression testing tool Tricentis Neoload performance/load testing tool SAP Portals, SSO and authorizations Exposure to interface tools (RFC and API’s, web service calls, XML) SAP Solution Manager SAPScript/Smart Forms SAP experience in SD, MM, PP, WM, BPC, BI, PI, EDI/XML/PI, QN, FI, CO SAP Workflow knowledge Reporting tools SAP CDS, SAP tables, List views, ALV Microsoft reporting services & dashboards including Sharepoint, SSRS and Power BI Esker Document Management Bar Coding, PDA, wireless technologies and IoT devices 90,000-110,000K Annually Physical Requirements Have the ability to travel less than 5% of the year on average.
