SAP Data Migration Specialist

Our client, a specialist international infrastructure investment manager, is currently seeking a SAP Data Migration Specialist to lead the migration of complex financial data from Sun Systems to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This is a key role in a high-profile transformation programme, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of a mission-critical SAP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and take ownership of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud data migration load activities using the SAP Data Migration Cockpit
• Investigate and resolve data migration cockpit issues and defects during data load cycles
• Collaborate closely with the Data Management Lead to ensure accurate migration of complex financial data from Sun Systems to SAP S/4HANA
• Develop and implement robust data migration strategies, processes, and procedures
• Perform data validation and cleansing activities to uphold data integrity and quality throughout the migration lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in senior data migration roles, with a strong focus on financial data migration
• Proven experience in at least one SAP Public Cloud Implementation for Finance and Procurement
• Deep understanding of legacy ERP systems (especially Sun Systems) and experience migrating to SAP S/4HANA
• Strong experience working with external implementation partners and managing end-to-end data migration projects
• Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and Python for data manipulation, validation, and transformation
