Department and region: SGT – Sanlam Head Office: Western Cape
Output/Core Tasks:
• Financial management of costs and recovery in respective of monthly variance analysis to budget per cluster
• Monthly Mgmt. meetings to discuss the performance of the cluster with the Cluster Head
• Budgeting & Forecasting for Cluster
• Develop and maintain transparency of IT cost and cost drivers
• Manage relationships with Clients
• Management of provisions/debtors controls
• Translating financial reports to nonfinancial / IT technical people
• Identify trends and provide corrective action
• Financial process improvement and controls effectiveness
• Perform month-end journals
• Monthly, half & yearend closing
• Monthly Reconciliation of Headcount and Debtors
• Adhoc
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and will consider Bcom with completed articles.
• 2-3 years relevant Finance experience in IT and/or financial services
• Must have good financial knowledge and must have financials exposure with good excel skills
• Technology savvy – the ability to understand the IT related concepts
• Attention to detail
