Salesforce Technical Architect

Los Angeles, CA HYBRID | Full Time

COMPENSATION RANGE: 120,000.00 - 140,000.00

Summary

The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions alignedwith business objectives. This role requires expert-level Salesforce knowledge combined with broad technical expertise to lead complex implementation projects and deliver high-quality solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Design comprehensive Salesforce architecture solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for development teams
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce products, features, and third-party solutions
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow Salesforce architectural best practices
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance to development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and project managers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and technology trends

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation, with at least 4 years in an architect role
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification preferred; minimum of Salesforce Certified System Architect and Salesforce Certified Application Architect certifications
  • Expertise in Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development frameworks (Apex, Lightning)
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and middleware solutions
  • Proficient in data modeling, security models, and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting principles (Netsuite)
  • Experience with financial system integrations and accounting processes
  • Proficiency in middleware and integration technologies (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato)
  • Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON)
  • Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools
