Role Description

Understand customers’ business processes and business requirements to document, analyse and map user requirements to Salesforce solutions and conduct fit-gap analysis of the requirements. Good functional understanding of Salesforce products/solutions and industry domains. Able to map solutions, define the functional design of the solution and develop test plan and test cases.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business requirements, do a fit-gap analysis and map requirements to Salesforce solutions and propose solutions to meet requirements
• Own and define the functional design of the Salesforce solution
• Document the business requirements and maintain requirements traceability matrix
• Define the test plan and test cases for testing the developed application and reports
• Co-ordinating with the customer end-users for functional testing/User Acceptance Testing
• Preparing the end-user training documentation and conducting end user training workshops
• Provide presales support by reviewing RFPs, analysing requirements, engaging in customer discussions, preparing the requirements mapping, solution proposal and effort estimates, presenting the solution proposal, configuring demos and conducting solution demos
• Close co-ordination with the PM, Solution Architect and Technical consultants for providing inputs for technical design, validating the application and conducting functional testing of the solution
• Conducting peer-reviews of the solution design and technical design
• Contribute to the guidelines and best practices for architecting and designing Salesforce solutions
• Participate and support in design and development of pre-built solutions
• Develop deep functional and technical understanding of Salesforce products and solutions. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills on Salesforce products and solutions
• Conduct knowledge sharing for internal teams to share knowledge internally
  
  

Required Experience And Skills

• Highly motivated resource with excellent communications and presentation skills.
• Experience of presenting to senior leaders and C-level execs
• Solid functional knowledge across Salesforce products and solutions
• Experience of designing solutions for highly scalable Salesforce solutions integrated with other enterprise solutions like ERP, HCM, Middleware, Data warehousing, BI/AI
• Minimum 3 years as BA/Functional Consultant experience for Salesforce Solutions
• Hands-on project delivery experience of atleast 5 years and with large end-to-end project implementations for enterprise customers
• Total Experience of 7-10 years with atleast 5 years of Salesforce experience
• Must have Salesforce Certification(s).
• Sound understanding of SDLC, Agile/DevOps methodologies and Salesforce DX
• Team player. Works collaboratively with sales, presales and delivery teams
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• Knowledge of other enterprise class solutions like ERP, HCM, Middleware, DW, BI/AI
• Experience of working / integrating with other Salesforce products e.g. Einstein Analytics, Mulesoft, Heroku, Tableau
• Experience of working and engaging with customers in Europe, Middle East and India regions
• Knowledge and experience in Financial Services, Health, Government, Retail/CG industries preferred
• Highly aware of industry trends and latest developments on CRM solutions
