Align, the makers of Invisalign ® is looking for a Salesforce Database Administrator. This exciting new role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry. The Salesforce Database Administrator should manage the day-to-day administration of the Salesforce application, work with business executives and users for changes to configuration and develops new solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs. Responsible for creating and maintaining complex workflows, validation rules, triggers and approval processes. Customize standard objects and page layouts; creating custom objects, fields and record types. Report and dashboard development; assisting users with report design and management. Create training materials and implementing new and existing user-training sessions. Ensure data quality and integrity. Regularly manage company-wide imports/exports, performing de-duplications and data clean-up procedures (using DataLoader). Research, install/configure, and implement business solutions via AppExchange, in addition to complete end-user training and software documentation. This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver the next generation of clear aligners (Invisalign®) to our customers. Role expectations
In this role, you will…
- Perform tactic day-to-day management of SFDC, emphasizing user engagement and adoption, like creating Users, Profiles, Roles, Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards and Process Builder.
- Partner with various teams, including Marketing, Operations, IT,In this role, you'll need … and Users, to facilitate business requirements and related duties throughout the organization.
- Manage the setup of new users and their permissions.
- Create and maintain custom reports as well as campaigns upon request of end users.
- Audit, uncover, and resolve data integrity issues.
- Assist project managers in developing project plans, including detailed project estimates and tasks required for database activities. Utilize standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
- Provide strategic consulting to end users with best practices and use of CRM applications. Assist with developing training programs and materials.
- Assist with user licensing assignments permissions and monitor usage.
- Transfer prospects, leads, and opportunities upon request. Update and maintain proprietary sales team setup.
What We're Looking For
In this role, you'll need …
Typically
- Bachelor's degree.
- Less than 1 year of directly related experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation of complex data in easily understood ways, and strong data visualization skills.
- Ability to confidently interact at multiple levels in the organization.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing/conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work independently and is a motivated self-starter.
- To be excellent, detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze, structure, and interpret large quantities of raw data Preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile Development and Scrum.
- Certified Associate Administrator.
- Certified Administrator (ADM-201).
- SCRUM.
- ITIL.
