We are looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Specialist to manage and optimize our Salesforce CPQ platform. This role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce CPQ to streamline our sales processes and ensure pricing accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Salesforce, specifically in CPQ, with a good understanding of the sales process.
Responsibilities
Analyze existing CPQ processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and IT, to refine and enhance the CPQ functionality.
Integrate CPQ with other Salesforce products and external systems as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Salesforce CPQ, ensuring a seamless user experience for the sales team.
Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Lightning Components, Apps, Mobile, and Custom front ends, etc.), integrations with the bank core systems (through the use of Jitterbit ([Middleware]) and complex data migrations.
Create and maintain documentation of CPQ processes, configurations, and customizations.
Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce* pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components* and Lightning Web Components,
Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization,
Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development,
Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code,
Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as [enter your additional applications e.g. DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Mailchimp etc],
Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business
Qualifications And Background
Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce, with at least 2 years focused on CPQ implementation and management.
Salesforce [Salesforce products e.g. Sales Cloud] product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
Strong knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and pricing models.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
