Summary

Position Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator will manage all aspects of user and license administration, configure platform features, and ensure data integrity. Responsibilities include sandbox management, user support, adoption monitoring, and proactive system maintenance. This role will execute on platform roadmap priorities and oversee integrations with third-party applications. The ideal candidate will develop scalable solutions, conduct training, and create technical documentation to support seamless Salesforce operation and user experience.


Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
  • Sandbox environment management
  • Identify and gather requirements, translate into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • User support tickets
  • Monitor and improve user adoption
  • New user and ongoing user training
  • Technical documentation
  • Management of integrated applications and third-party suppliers
  • Validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits),
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements,
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components,
  • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
  • Maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Integrate and maintain business applications to Salesforce, such as e.g. Conga, Highspot, NetSuite, Icertis, etc.
  • Collaborate with Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience including both Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Developer responsibilities
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and translate their requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript
  • Experience with Integration Tools (e.g. Celigo, Boomi and Informatica)
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience in change management and governance
  • Familiarity with Order-to-Cash processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree from 4 Year accredited College/University preferred
