Job Description:
The Associate Salesforce Administrator is an entry-level role that will assist in the day-to-day operations of our Sales platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users and supports the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, has a strong interest in Salesforce, and is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.
User Support and Training: Provide basic Salesforce support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and assist with training to ensure effective use of the platform.
Data Management: Assist in managing and maintaining clean and accurate data within Salesforce, including data imports, exports, and de-duplication.
System Maintenance: Perform routine Salesforce maintenance tasks, including user account creation, profile and permission set updates, and role hierarchy adjustments.
Customization: Support the customization of Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to meet business requirements.
Reporting and Dashboards: Assist in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business users.
Process Automation: Assist in the development and maintenance of workflow rules, process builder, and other basic automation tools within Salesforce.
Documentation: Maintain and update system documentation, user guides, and training materials as needed.
Security: Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures by regularly reviewing user access and permissions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Salesforce Manager and other team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Experience and Skills:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
1+ year of professional experience working with Salesforce or in a similar CRM administration role
Preferred Experience:
Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or working towards certification
Experience with data import/export tools like Data Loader
Familiarity with basic process automation tools within Salesforce
Experience with HubSpot
Knowledge/Skills
Salesforce product knowledge: basic understanding of Salesforce, including familiarity with standard objects, workflows, and basic customization
Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with users at all levels of the organization
Possess patience and the skill to clearly articulate technical information, especially to those non-technical stakeholders
Basic knowledge of data management tools, Excel, and reporting tools. Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning is a plus.
