The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Sales Leader to drive performance in our New Business Field Sales Team. This is a pivotal leadership role in a high-growth environment where you’ll lead a team targeting a specific vertical market. You'll help shape our sales strategy, grow our customer base, and deliver real impact.

You’ll be joining a thriving, market-leading software business—ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially savvy, and excited by challenge and opportunity.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed targets
  • Develop and execute a clear, strategic sales plan for both new business and revenue growth
  • Enable your team to confidently communicate IRIS’s full product and solution offering
  • Recruit, onboard, and continually develop top sales talent
  • Foster long-term, value-driven customer relationships
  • Report accurate sales forecasts and performance insights to leadership
  • Identify and respond to market trends, competitor moves, and emerging opportunities


What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in a software sales leadership role, consistently hitting and exceeding targets
  • Strong working knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPIN)
  • Excellent team coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels, including executive stakeholders
  • Experience building strategic sales plans and seeing them through to execution
  • Strong commercial awareness and business insight
  • Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong attention to detail
  • A degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Commitment to continuous learning through training, workshops, and industry events
