As a Sales Support Representative in the home improvement industry, your primary responsibility is to assist the sales team in achieving their goals by providing administrative, dispatch and consumer finance support. You play a critical role in facilitating the sales process by coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of sales representatives to meet with potential customers. You act as a liaison between the sales team and clients, ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently and sales opportunities are maximized.
Scheduling and Dispatching
Coordinate with sales representatives so schedule appointments based on availability, geographic location, and client preferences
Maintain an organized calendar of sales appointments and ensure each representative receives clear and timely information about their schedule
Assist sales personnel with lead issuing and resulting
Maintain accurate records of sales appointments, customer interactions, and sales activities using the CRM software
Communicate any changes or updates to the sales team regarding appointment schedules, client preferences, or special requests
Provide exceptional customer service to clients by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process.
Financing Assistance
Analyze credit reports and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants
Calculate debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and other key metrics to assess borrowers’ financial capacity and eligibility for loans
Review loan applications and documentation to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Help sales personnel in presenting the best finance opportunities for customers with the lowest cost to the company
Preferred experience in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, or lending operations, preferably in the home improvement lending industry
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
