The Sales Support Specialist provides critical administrative and operational support to the Market Director of Sales, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations within the commercial aquatics industry. This role is essential in streamlining workflows and allowing the sales executives to focus on high-value, client-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM and Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system; assist in tracking sales activity and reporting pipeline metrics.
  • Meeting Preparation and Follow-up: Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and presentations for client meetings; record meeting notes and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
  • Proposal Coordination and Documentation: Support the creation, formatting, and delivery of client proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations; ensure documents are complete, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Scheduling, Logistics, and Communication Support: Manage calendars, schedule internal and client meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and provide timely communication to customers and stakeholders.

  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: Skilled in managing multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable drafting professional correspondence and customer-facing materials.
  • Team Player with Executive Support Experience: Demonstrated success supporting senior-level professionals; proactive and adaptable with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Sales- or Business Development-Related Background: Experience in a sales, account management, or customer service role is preferred, especially within commercial or technical industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms a must (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Experience in commercial aquatics, construction, or B2B service industries a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field
