Major Responsibilities

  • Supports management team members and executives as needed.
  • Performs all administrative duties for the sales team, to include assistance with meeting or conference planning and preparations
  • Assists Inside Sales team by providing data reports and sales guides.
  • Monitors sales performances through sales tracking tools and report progress to Inside Sales team.
  • Attends virtual and in-person meetings and responds to emails to assist all territories within region.
  • Regularly meets with senior leaders to provide updates on strategic deliverables and insights into client trends.
  • Coordinates sales metric reports for productivity and key performance metrics
  • Drafts presentations and reports for sales team
  • Responds to customer requests on various platforms, including email, phone calls, social media channels, and chats.
  • Provides customer service by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales performance & sales process improvements.
  • Prepares content and identifies marketing and sales opportunities for social media platforms.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience required.

Work Experience Required

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Support Specialist
  • Railroad, Construction, or other related industry experience, preferred.
  • Railroad Industry marketing experience, preferred

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Active listener and ability to adapt quickly to various customer needs
  • Analytical and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and social media platforms.
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry.
