Job Summary
Allen Digital is looking for a Sales Strategy and Operations Manager, to streamline and enhance sales processes, ensuring operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This role will support the digital sales teams by optimizing lead management, and providing strategic sales insights by strengthening data analytics . A crucial part of the role involves ensuring efficient sales operations, timely performance tracking, and smooth collaboration with other teams. This role is at the intersection of business strategy, process optimization, and customer experience. As the role evolves, you'll take on more responsibilities in sales process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy development: Provide strategic inputs to sales process aligning them with business objective achievement with lead management and segmentation
- Process design: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in sales workflows by implementing standardized procedures across the sales team
- Designing and executing a strategy to unify lead management, optimize sales calling efficiency, and improve overall sales team effectiveness.
- CRM & Data Management: Oversee the CRM system, ensure data accuracy, and conduct regular audits to support actionable insights for the sales team
- Performance Analytics: Provide detailed reporting and analysis on sales activities, trends, and outcomes to track KPIs and support strategic decision-making
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, business and marketing to identify sales initiatives and feature requirements to meet sales & customer needs
- Sales Excellence & Insights: Provide detailed insights and strategic recommendations to improve team performance. Identify and promote best practices across the sales function to elevate overall performance.
- Benchmark Allen Digital’s sales processes against industry standards and best practices
- Present findings and insights to leadership and key stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as business owner/operations/data management or a related role. Experience in the education or ed-tech sector is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with an ownership mentality
- Comfortable working on unstructured open problem statements in fast-paced environments
