Summary

The Senior Sales & Pricing Analyst will play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, supporting customer-facing sales initiatives, and delivering actionable insights to drive business growth. This position requires a seasoned analytical professional who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience through thoughtful pricing models and data-driven decision-making. The role will closely support Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams, ensuring pricing practices are aligned with market dynamics, revenue objectives, and client needs.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and optimization of pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, taking into account market trends, competitor benchmarks, and customer segmentation insights.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Sales and Client Success teams, providing guidance during customer engagements and pricing negotiations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing aligns with broader business objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to evaluate industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing activities.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine pricing strategies that support both retention and acquisition goals.
  • Build executive-level dashboards and reports to track sales performance, pricing effectiveness, and market positioning.
  • Contribute to forecasting models and revenue planning by interpreting historical sales and pricing data.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on pricing tools and processes, supporting the continuous improvement of internal systems and methodologies.
  • Train and support sales and service teams in understanding pricing strategies and communicating value to clients.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in pricing strategy, sales analytics, or revenue operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP platforms; familiarity with Salesforce and/or MVP software is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into strategic insights and business recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting customer-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and value-based pricing approaches.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-functional collaboration.
