Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Managing Director of Sales with the optimization, streamlining and management of sales processes to enhance the performance and efficiency of IP.com’s sales team. This role requires a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to implement tools and strategies that support revenue growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate on and implement streamlined sales processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the sales organization.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and enhance the use of CRM and sales software tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Etc.) to ensure accurate reporting, pipeline visibility, and data integrity.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights for sales leadership review.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate on marketing and training materials to provide sales representatives and assist with the production of tools, resources, and training content needed to succeed.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor and assist in updating sales forecasts and reports to support strategic decision-making by leadership.
  • Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement sales technologies and tools that enhance productivity and align with organizational goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all sales processes and activities adhere to company policies. Document standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the review of resumes and work with internal stakeholders to get qualified candidates through the interview process.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-focused organization.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM & sales prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, etc.) to manage sales activities.
  • Strong proficiency with the use of software applications and PC hardware related to the sales process (e.g., MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Etc.) and the company’s software products (e.g., IP.com software solutions – InnovationQ+, IQ Ideas, Etc.).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, Etc.).
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, BI tools).


Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field is preferred.
