Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst will assist in developing and maximizing sales of assigned product line by providing analytical support to account managers and other sales team members and managing day-to-day operational and order-related activities of assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Gather, analyze, and summarize key data points in order to empower the sales team with information to help drive effective and efficient sales growth.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators of various sales programs and initiatives
  • Identify actionable metrics about product and inventory levels to support sales development
  • Develop presentations that analyze sales and inventory levels to identify opportunities for sales growth
  • Implement and manage reports and dashboards ensuring sales team members have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Work with internal IT teams to identify system enhancements and opportunities to provide data updates more easily
  • Managing the daily business activities of their assigned accounts which include: order entry, scheduling of order shipments, pricing, securing new orders and ensuring the highest level of service possible; under the guidance of the Company's Sales SOP.
  • Responsible to manage open order file to ensure all orders and back orders are shipped in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible to obtain product and technical knowledge of all of the company's products by attending various technical training seminars offered and self-study.
  • Entering orders in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Respond to customers' requests for quotation in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Initiate and follow through the resolution with Product Assurance department of any dispute that involves an order.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree business, marketing or a related field AND 5 to 7 years of experience in sales operations and analysis. In depth knowledge of sales technologies and proven success in a with analytical tools and software.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) , CRM and have experience with other analytical software tools.

Commmunication Skills

Ability to comprehend complex written materials. Ability to develop training materials. Ability to clearly express ideas and establish an interactive learning environment. Ability to speak effectively before groups (executives, employees, customers and agents).

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to resolve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished verbally or in written form. Strong problem solving and skills with ability to identify trends and develop action plans to address issues.
