ACADEM software supports Schools and Universities in their quality and accreditation management processes.
This solution gathers and centralizes data about research professor and their publications to generate standard reports for accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA…) as well as other customized reports.
Launched in 2012, the solution is now used by 135 customers in 33 countries. As a historical market expert, our aim is to increase the impact of our solution and continue to increase our international presence.
Job description
As an ambassador and stakeholder in our sales strategy, your role will be to position RimaOne as the historical leader among higher education establishments, and thus consolidate our value proposition.
As our business development manager, you will be responsible for attracting new customers and encouraging the acquisition of other modules from existing customers.
You will work closely with our CEO and COO, to define the best development strategy.
Your tasks
- Define several acquisition levers for the commercial development of the solution
- Map stakeholders, prospects and customers, and understand trends in the higher education and research sector
- Draft responses to calls for tender
- Lead the all sales process: identify the right personae and their needs, articulate ACADEM’s value proposition, adapt the pitch, remove sticking points and prioritize deadlines, report on activity and results
- Participate in defining sales strategy: regular exchanges with management on priorities, with customer teams on upsell and cross-sell detection, with product teams on suggestions for adapting to the market
- Participate in higher education and accreditation events such as trade fairs and conferences
- Produce professional content for marketing campaigns.
Preferred experience
- Initial sales experience as a Sales or Account Manager, ideally with a software publisher
- Experience in IT sales (multi-stakeholder/political issues), with success and quotas achieved. If possible with a SaaS or technology company
- Fluent English
- Excellent writing and oral/written communication skills
- Autonomous and able to put forward proposals for action

- Knowledge of the higher education and research sector (Business and Management Schools, Universities)
- Knowledge of MEDDIC sales methodology
