Summary

The Sales Manager for Agency Sales in the Life Insurance sector will be responsible for driving sales through the development, recruitment, and management of insurance agents. This role focuses on leading a team of agents to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and the promotion of customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of life insurance products, and a proven track record in sales management.


Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development:

o Recruit, train, and mentor a team of insurance agents to build a productive and motivated salesforce.

o Provide ongoing training and support to agents on life insurance products, sales techniques, and compliance guidelines.

o Set clear performance goals for the agency team and implement effective tracking and evaluation processes.


• Sales Strategy & Execution:

o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market penetration in assigned territories.

o Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to optimize sales approaches.

o Foster strong relationships with agents to ensure sustained motivation and retention of top talent.


• Client Relationship Management:

o Support agents in customer acquisition by assisting in client meetings, presentations, and closing of sales.

o Ensure exceptional service quality and build lasting client relationships to foster trust and increase policy renewals. o Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and life insurance product offerings to suggest appropriate solutions.


• Compliance & Reporting:

o Ensure that all sales activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

o Regularly report sales performance, key metrics, and market feedback to senior management.

o Handle any escalations related to agent performance, client issues, or compliance violations.


Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate with decent pass percentage

• Should Speak/Read/Write English

• Working experience in Sales is preferably financial products is an advantage.

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

• Excellent selling, communication, and training skills

• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

• Train and motivate agents to provide a better understanding of market/products

• Monitor and review agents’ performance. Help them achieve maximum business

• Meet customers for achieving channel/agent targets
