Summary

My client sells Capital Equipment is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to support the Midwest Region MO / IL / Iowa / North & South Dakota.


You will be responsible for building and leading a team of successful Sales Executives.


Your team will be selling clinical instruments into hospitals and healthcare clinics within your assigned region.


Using your well-developed leadership skills, you will effectively manage your team to achieve/exceed your account and sales objective for your region.


You will accomplish these goals by hiring top talent and coaching your team effectively.


Salary is $120,000 - $140,000 dependant on experience and you won't need to be in the office. OTE will be $200,000+


Essential Responsibilities


  • Hiring, developing, coaching and leading Sales reps
  • Meet or exceed regional sales objectives (quotas) in support of national goals.
  • Manage, drive and motivate your team to ensure that players are meeting / exceeding KPI & revenue targets.
  • Being the highest point of escalation for clients on your sales team.
  • Be very client facing - you would accompany your reps on client meetings / deal structures
  • Establish and implement best practice sales frameworks to lead your team to success.
  • This is a people management role ad whilst you won't be a player / coach your team will have targets that they must hit.


Must Haves:


  • Capital equipment experience sales experience
  • Leadership experience (Overseeing a team of Junior reps)
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Hands-on experience managing a diverse field sales force; significant capital sales experience, selling medical devices into hospitals and/or large accounts; exceptional sales skill and leadership ability.
  • Ideally, you will reside within close proximity to St. Louis, MO - Travel would be 50% - 80% of your work week.
