Job Description

As Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Develop, lead, and implement a business development strategy for public sector infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain a network of key stakeholders within public authorities.
  • Lead and coordinate tender processes, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal operational teams.
  • Identify new market opportunities and position the organization as a partner of choice in complex infrastructure projects.
  • Guide and manage a team of 6 people (3 sales assistant & 3 sales people) and support staff to maximize performance and motivation.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making in collaboration with operational and commercial leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze team performance, and continuously refine commercial approaches.
  • Focus on the Belgian market.


The Successful Applicant

The successful profile will have the following qualities:


  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or tender management within the infrastructure engineering sector.
  • A strong and relevant network within the public sector and municipalities in Belgium.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to lead complex tendering and sales processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
  • Familiar with CRM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical, and driven by results.
