Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Sales Manager (Corporate) role located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing corporate accounts, developing sales strategies, building relationships with corporate clients, and meeting sales targets.


Job Description

  • Generate new corporate sales opportunities and analyze account profitability.
  • Train sales reps in areas such as prospecting, cold calling, selling skills, product knowledge, and proposal writing.
  • Thrive in a quota-driven environment while remaining focused and flexible.
  • Solicit and close corporate group room sales for the hotel and conference facilities.
  • Responsible for designated corporate market segments, including room blocks, contract negotiation, event planning, and on-site servicing.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism, guest service, and profitability.
  • Develop business leads, service existing corporate accounts, sell hotel facilities, and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Sales team.
  • Actively contribute to the company’s continued growth and success as part of the management team.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned corporate market segments.
  • Achieve corporate sales revenue targets and ensure strong client retention.
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Execute proactive and strategic sales activities to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate goals.
  • Uphold service excellence and promote the hotel’s brand value.


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in hotel sales, preferably in corporate or group sales in hospitality industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience in corporate account management and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
