SUMMARY:
Manage sales within a geographic area, ensuring consistent, profitable growth through planning, deployment, and management. Establish objectives, strategies, and actions to enhance both short-term and long-term sales and earnings.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
• Works with the Division Manager to establish and recommend realistic sales goals for the company.
• Oversees a designated geographic sales area or discipline to maximize revenue and achieve corporate objectives.
• Achieves profitable results through the sales team by fostering motivation, providing counseling, developing skills, and enhancing product and service knowledge.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
• Manages sales activities for major accounts and negotiate pricing and discounts in coordination with the Division Manager and President.
• Promotes and exemplifies the company’s safety culture, ensuring jobs are set up safely and guiding the sales team to follow safety protocols.
• Reviews the progress of sales roles throughout the company.
• Provides accurate forecasts of annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue.
• Develops targeted plans to drive revenue growth across all vertical markets of the company.
• Conducts quarterly evaluations of the sales team’s productivity.
• Utilizes appropriate resources to ensure efficient and stable sales outcomes.
• Develops and implements sales policies, practices, and procedures with approval from the Division Manager and President.
• Supports sales personnel in connections and rapport with clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience or training in the crane and rigging, or equivalent combination formal education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a sales team effectively.
• Proven in developing marketing and sales strategies.
• Excellent oral and written skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver’s license.
