Summary

Job Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategies, generating revenue through new client acquisition, and managing the sales team’s performance to ensure consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Design and implement a sales plan to meet monthly and annual targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends.
  • Develop unique selling points and pricing strategies for different customer segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotions.
  • Develop scalable lead-generation and qualification processes.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, updating plans as needed.
  • Sales Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members.
  • Develop team goals, performance metrics, and KPIs for each role.
  • Lead regular team meetings to discuss targets, challenges, and strategies.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to address skill gaps.
  • Implement reward programs and recognition for high-performing team members.
  • Address team dynamics and resolve conflicts within the sales team.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build strong client relationships and manage client onboarding.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and reviews with top clients.
  • Track and manage customer interactions via the HubSpot CRM system.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the client base.
  • Develop retention strategies for high-value clients.
  • Function as the escalation point for critical client concerns.
  • Sales Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze sales performance data to measure success.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, weaknesses, and growth areas.
  • Develop forecasting models for sales revenue and client acquisition.
  • Regularly review CRM data for customer insights and process improvements.
  • Present sales performance to senior management and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Achievement of revenue and sales targets.

Job Specification

  • Education: Bachelors in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales management, with a focus on digital or classified ads.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical, CRM, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills.
