Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our membership acquisition and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for workspace solutions, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive occupancy rates and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed membership and revenue targets
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective members through proactive outreach and networking
Conduct facility tours and presentations that effectively showcase our workspace offerings and community benefits
Create compelling proposals and negotiate membership agreements that maximize value for both members and the company
Implement and manage CRM systems to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
Lead and mentor sales team members, providing coaching, training, and support to enhance their performance
Collaborate with marketing to develop effective campaigns and materials that support lead generation
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and member feedback to inform pricing and product strategies
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
Participate in community events and industry networking opportunities to raise awareness of our brand
Develop and maintain relationships with key local businesses, professional organizations, and referral partners
Implement retention strategies to maximize member satisfaction and renewals
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in coworking, commercial real estate, hospitality, or B2B services
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow revenue
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
Data-driven approach to sales planning and performance analysis
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Previous experience in coworking, shared office, or commercial real estate industry
Knowledge of local business community and professional networks
Experience managing or leading a sales team
Understanding of lease structures, terms, and real estate fundamentals
