Summary

We are hiring for a fast-growing FMCG startup, which is launching its retail operations in Bengaluru. They are looking for an experienced professional to lead and grow their city-level sales operations.


Position: City Sales Manager,

Location - Bengaluru

Role: Start General Trade Distribution and Sales development in identified Micro Geography area in Bengaluru – Eg; Central Bengaluru and periodical scale up


Key Responsibilities:

Achieve planned outlet distribution and sales budget  

  • Develop Channel Network in Bangalore in a Phased Manner 
  • Identify right Distributor
  • Create outlet launch and expansion plan along with beat program
  • Market Visit and build Sales directly in Key Account / Outlets through existing and new relationship
  • Get relevant Sales officers to cover beats through market sources 
  • Supervise and Monitor Sales Officers Work – Sales, Beats, Report
  • Solve Ongoing Issues and Develop Distributor to improve his sales and return
  • Plan and execute all sales relevant promotion Activities
  • Competition Monitoring and Action
  • Coordinate with HO – Reporting.


Skills

  • Selling Skills – Understand Customer, Drive Attention, Think on the feet etc.
  • Basic Arithmetic Skill / Computing 
  • Fluency in Local Language / Working English Knowledge
  • Territory / Customer Knowledge
  • Basic English - Written and Comprehension.
  • People and Negotiation


Experience

  • 6 – 12 Years Experience in FMCG with above skill and deliver GT Sales
  • Territory Knowledge / Relationship
  • Good Conduct and who love Market Visits.
  • TSR/ASM of small FMCG Companies / Distributor Sales Supervisor of large Distributor 


Salary

  • Min. Rs. 50,000 p.m. Take home ( +/- 10K ) – Market Allowances Addl
