Summary

This position will lead new client acquisition for technology vendor growth solutions. This role is responsible for achieving personal sales objectives including monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.


This role will work under the manager of Sales in a highly motivating and energetic environment. You will be supported by Marketopia’s marketing and lead generation team in your efforts to identify and close customers on long term high dollar contracts.


Essential functions

  • New Business Development - Prospecting
  • Sell company Marketing & Demand Generation Solutions
  • Achievement of prospecting KPIs, quotas, and overall goals
  • Collaborate with Business Development Reps to identify and close qualified prospects they identify
  • Actively engage in mentoring the team to ensure client plans and strategies
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadlines
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Confer with customers by telephone, video or in person to provide information about products or services
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions and inquiries
  • Align sales activity with company growth objectives
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data, determine insights and develop programs to drive productivity and efficiencies
  • Oversee and coordinate individual sales activities
  • Collaborate with your team to acquire new clients and retain existing clients
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of opportunities
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Report on individual performance to leadership
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
  • Partner with leadership in other business areas to ensure campaigns are executed properly
  • Leverage CRM reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and present KPIs and metrics
  • Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business
  • Any other duties as assigned


Education, Experience, Skills

  • Bachelors degree
  • Business acumen skills; thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation, as well as communication with peers or subordinates
  • Experience selling Marketing or other solutions to Technology Vendors
  • Experience selling in an IT, Advertising, or Marketing organization
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot or Go High Level
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport, influence and deepen relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in IT Channel Marketing
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with peers and management to achieve goals
  • Strong writing skills and experience creating sales proposals
  • Knowledge of marketing, lead generation, and creative services
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate computer skills a must (Microsoft Office 365, web browsing, researching)
  • Strong sense of personal integrity and a high degree of personal responsibility/accountability
  • Comfort with multiple, shifting priorities and short deadlines
  • Team player that has fun on the job while getting a lot done
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Experience closing long term, high dollar contracts

Travel required

  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 40%
