Director of Sales Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our automation solutions team. The ideal candidate will drive sales of warehousing, material handling, and end-of-line packaging automation solutions across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. You will be the key link between our engineering capabilities and customer needs, delivering tailored automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and ROI. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
Technical Consultation
Assess customer requirements and provide technical consultation on suitable automation solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to create tailored proposals and system layouts.
Work with the Applications Engineering team to conduct technical presentations, product demos, and site assessments.
Market Insight
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Provide feedback to product development teams on customer needs and market demands.
Qualifications Proven sales experience in business development and account management, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial manufacturing. ? Strong prospecting skills, with the ability to engage customers through multiple channels (cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, and industry events). ? Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with integrators or OEMs in the automation space.
Familiarity with automation software platforms (PLC, HMI, WMS, etc.).
Ability to travel regionally/nationally up to 50%.
