We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to generate sales and achieve annual targets as defined in our budget. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to ensure that customer requirements are not only met but exceeded.



Key Accountabilities:


  • Identify and pursue new clients who can benefit from our products or services, maximizing client potential within designated regions.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms to fulfill both client and company requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust customer base while fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers within the sales territory to understand their needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Record and maintain accurate client contact data for effective follow-up and relationship management.
  • Provide timely and professional follow-up with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Prepare quotations and technical proposals, responding adeptly to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely and precise delivery of goods according to client specifications.



Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years in the Water & Power or Sales industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to our products; ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence clients effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player, supportive of both staff and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.



Additional Requirements:


  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze client needs and market trends.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the sales territory.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape.
