Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Sales Engineer to partner with our sales team and drive revenue growth by leveraging their deep technical expertise in the Adtech space. In this crucial role, you will act as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle for advertising publishers, DSPs, and SSPs, designing and presenting tailored SaaS cybersecurity solutions that address their unique needs in securing the ad-based internet economy. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Product, Customer Success, and Technical Escalation teams to ensure successful solution implementation and ongoing client success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to provide full deal support (technical discovery, demonstrations, trial/proof of concepts)
  • Lead discovery calls and interactions with customers to identify needs and pain points
  • Deliver technical demos that align to value propositions and position solutions effectively against competitors
  • Spearhead the technical trial process for prospective clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, deeply understanding their needs and articulating how our cybersecurity solutions address their specific challenges and goals.
  • Break down complex topics into easily-digestible takeaways for your audience
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to deliver valuable feedback on customer needs and market trends.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in presales role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Consultant) preferably within cybersecurity or AdTech industries
  • Experience demonstrating a software platform (Making presentations)
  • Understanding of all components of a software sales process
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot) and modern sales tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and ad-serving technologies
  • Able to read, understand and debug JavaScript code
  • Experience in an ad operations role or other Ad Tech experience
  • Experience with DFP or another major ad server
  • Familiarity with Header Bidding technologies such as Prebid.js

Pay

  • Sales Engineer II (est. 3-4 YOE):
  • $125,000 - $150,000 USD OTE
  • Senior Sales Engineer (est. 5+ YOE):
  • $150,000 - $200,000 USD OTE
  • Base pay is dependent on location and experience
