Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a vital part in driving sales, strengthening customer relationships, and promoting SSI's industry-leading optical products. Your technical expertise and strategic approach will help customers find optimal solutions while supporting the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert sales engineering and technical support.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand market reach.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and support.
• Conduct sales presentations and assist in designing custom solutions to meet client needs.
• Represent SSI at industry trade shows, customer visits, and professional networking events.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales engineering and technical support.
• Strong background in sales and customer service, with a focus on B2B engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optics, or a related field.
• Experience in the optics industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
