Summary


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for plasma cutting machines across various industries.
  • Follow up on leads and convert prospects into customers.
  •  Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences for networking and market research.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs to support product development and improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in sales engineering or technical sales, particularly in industrial machinery or manufacturing technologies (water jet cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting, or related).
  • Experience in selling capital equipment or technical solutions is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India as part of the role.


Preferred:

  • Experience in laser cutting, laser marking, or other advanced machining technologies.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing and production processes in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and metalworking.
  • Willingness to travel as required meeting with clients, providing demonstrations, and attending industry events.
