Position Summary:
This is an Individual Contributor role. You are a driven, self- motivated, and hungry to learn individual, who is looking to build a career in Commercial Operations & Marketing Organization.
As a Sales Development/Operations Mgr., you will be a crucial support to the sales team. In this role, you will be asked to perform deep-dive analysis into customer, business development and product data.
You will have the opportunity to work with and influence multiple departments including Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Finance through the use of data. You are a detailed, focused and determined individual with an effective communication style.
What You Will Do:
- Proficiently utilize Salesforce or Comparable CRM, with Lumileds LLC’s architecture and guidelines; Follow Lumileds LLC sales processes, products, pricing and cross-functional operations to increase sales and productivity.
- Support inbound opportunity requests from Regional Sales Account Managers Proactively interface with Regional Sales Account Managers and Product Managers to develop optimal opportunity-specific proposals.
- Understand and articulate product strengths, competitive positioning, and opportunity- specific value propositions.
- Assist in specification development and technical agreement process for customer specific programs. Creating final specification + pricing proposal to drive program wins.
- Generate quotations, and proactively develop opportunity-specific Sales collateral as necessary.
- Pricing management for Automotive product portfolio, including creating tools for monitoring price evolution. Maintain accurate and complete data as well as producing market pricing & competitive positioning reports.
- Support of Lumileds LLC product management, marketing and engineering in specifying, characterizing and launching new products to ensure customer acceptance and satisfaction
- Strong business relationship enabling successful selling processes of the entire value proposition chain.
- Prepares business development & sales forecasts; collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales achievement.
- Maintain existing sales reports/dashboards and proactively drive ad hoc reporting aimed at process optimization & sales growth. Analyzes sales data; identifies trends and performance, and makes recommendations regarding strategic sales initiatives.
- Innovates on tools, processes and procedures, specifically including but not limited to: Salesforce or Comparable CRM.com, SQL, and Tableau to support & strengthen the sales org.
- Support finance in FP&A activities, decision making & tracking. Help build prospecting and proposal presentations via gathering relevant slides, screenshots, researching information to be included and/or providing input and support of presentation layout, content and format. Evaluates third-party solutions for appropriate sales operations functions as needed.
- Develop internal relationships with stakeholders such as Sales Account Managers, Distributors & Leadership, Product managers and Marketing to provide insight & leadership through data.
- Duties may include supporting Automotive Market Segment, Conduct Training on Salesforce or Comparable CRM Improvements, and working with IT teams to develop tailored Salesforce or Comparable CRM solutions.
- Possess a masterful understanding of Lumileds LLC data, products/solutions, team functions and be able to interact effectively with Lumileds LLC’s systems (Salesforce or Comparable CRM, SAP, Tableau).
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):
- 5+ years sales operations or analytics experience.
- 3+ years of Salesforce or Comparable CRM (Adobe – Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, Model N, Hubspot) experience with respect to activity tracking and reporting is required.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, data filters/sort.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and able to work independently & cross- functionally.
- Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional with a “no excuses” attitude.
- Possesses the drive to participate and succeed in the growth of an extremely fast-paced, exciting market segment(s).
- Strong computer skills with experience using MS Office, Salesforce or Comparable CRM applications.

- Preferred in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
