Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating leads and driving sales for our HR Tech solutions within the Indian market. You will engage with key decision-makers, including CHROs, HR Directors, and Talent Acquisition Heads, to help achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high volume of calls and emails, collaborating with channel partners, and qualifying prospects to generate interest and secure meetings for the sales team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Close sales and consistently achieve quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct in-depth research on accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in product offerings.
  • Maintain and expand a robust database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to build the sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities to address their pain points.
  • Respond to potential customers’ queries and share additional product and service information as needed.
  • Stay up to date with product updates and service offerings to effectively communicate with prospects.
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of products and services in a compelling manner.


Required Experience & Skill

  • Proven experience in inside sales, with a demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Proficiency in using corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or a similar platform.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch HR Tech products and services.
  • Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize workload.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in inside sales within the Indian market.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a sales-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with the sales administration process and lead qualification method.


Desired Skills & Experie

  • Experience in selling HR Tech, Recruitment Tech, or Workforce Management Solutions.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and challenges faced by HR leaders in large enterprises.
  • Experience selling to large enterprises with over 5,000 employees.
  • Understanding of SaaS implementation, integrations, and HR Tech stacks, including integrations with ATS, ERP, HRMS systems.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach to senior HR leaders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to craft compelling sales emails, presentations, and proposals tailored to specific prospects.
  • Understanding of the HR Tech landscape, including background verification, recruitment automation, payroll, and compliance solutions.
  • Previous experience working with international markets, including MENA, APAC, or Europe, is beneficial.
  • Sales certifications such as HubSpot Inbound Sales, Challenger Sales, or similar qualifications.
