About the Role


We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Dallas team. In this role, you’ll drive new business by connecting clients to health insurance solutions and building a strong pipeline alongside our Sales Manager. This is an opportunity to launch or grow your sales career, earn uncapped commissions, and fast-track to a self-employed agent model after 18 months.


Key Responsibilities


  • Sell health insurance policies to individual and business clients to achieve sales goals.
  • Follow up with inbound leads and proactively generate new business through cold calling and networking.
  • Enroll clients into American Ally’s health services network.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
  • Represent American Ally at local events and networking opportunities.


What We're Looking For


  • Ability to obtain a Texas Life and Health Insurance License within 60 days (training and licensing fees fully covered).
  • 1–5 years of sales experience preferred; college degree optional.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in prospecting by phone and in-person.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client relationships.
  • Ambitious, coachable, and energized by a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work in-office, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.


Compensation


  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$80,000+ in your first year (base salary + commission).
  • Base Salary: Starts at $45,000, with increases to $50,000 at 90 days and $55,000 at 180 days based on performance.
  • Commission: 5% of total premium per policy sold (uncapped; paid monthly).
