Job Summary: The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business and building and maintaining long-term existing client relationships within the collision repair equipment installation and service industry.  This role grows the company’s customer base by promoting and selling high-quality Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) paint booths and finishing systems, and other collision repair equipment and tools to customers in North and South Carolina.  This is a field-based role focused on identifying potential customers, quoting company services, managing customer engagement, and closing profitable new business.  The pay for this role is between $60,000-70,000 per year, plus incentive.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and targets potential customers through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with existing clients, identifying additional opportunities for growth.
  • Promote and sell GFS and other high-quality products to current and potential customers.
  • Presents and demonstrates collision repair equipment products and services to prospective clients.
  • Prepares and delivers sales proposals and contracts.
  • Negotiates terms and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Maintains working knowledge of GFS and other brands’ products, promotions, and industry to explain product functions and value to best address customer needs.
  • Collaborates with the installation and maintenance teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Tracks and reports on sales activities and results.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair tools, equipment and technologies. industries.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to potential and current customer sites.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required.  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in sales, preferably in the collision repair equipment industry.
  • Experienced with CRM software and Microsoft Office.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to drive to customer sites to promote products and present services.
