Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced sales development manager who would be responsible for overseeing company’s sales development team. A Sales Development Manager is a key figure in the sales department, tasked with overseeing the Sales Development Representatives team. Their role focuses on driving sales pipeline growth, managing team performance, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.They play a crucial part in strategizing outbound and inbound sales initiatives, coaching team members, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

A Sales Development Manager is a leadership role responsible for guiding and managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to generate leads and build sales pipelines, ensuring the team meets its targets through effective coaching, performance management, and strategic planning. A Sales Development Manager leads a team responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities. They manage daily operations, set performance standards, and align the team’s efforts with the company’s sales goals. This involves training and mentoring SDRs, monitoring their performance, and optimizing sales strategies.The manager also collaborates with sales and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to lead generation and nurturing, ultimately contributing to the company’s revenue growth.

Job Requirements

Hours: On Site 8am-5pm CST

  • Delivering on outbound and inbound growth initiative goals
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team of SDRs
  • Driving SDR activity metrics and growing pipeline in specific territories
  • You’ll be responsible coaching and performance management, working closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities.

Skills

  • Ideal candidates will have a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in developing successful sales teams.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background as an Account Executive or in a similar closing position
  • Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for results
  • Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Experience in the IT sector and B2B sales or customer support
  • Project management skills and knowledge of sales KPIs evaluation

Compensation

  • $70-150K OTE based on experience and qualifications
