We are looking for a Strong Sales Data Analyst who will play a vital role in empowering our Sales Operations Team!

Location: Dallas - Hybrid

As the Sales Data Analyst for our Sales Operations team, you will be the go-to expert for transforming sales data into actionable insights. You'll play a crucial role in empowering our sales organizations and Sales Operations leadership by analyzing sales and lead data, developing performance tracking systems, and generating operational insights to empower the sales org. This position will also collaborate with the central Data team to align on broader Business Intelligence (BI) strategies, acting as the first level of data support for Sales Operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis:
• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with IT and Data teams to resolve issues related to data integrity or discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain data-related tools and scripts (e.g., SQL) to automate data processing, reporting, and efficient data extraction.
• Sales Team Performance & Support:
• Partner closely with IT and Data teams to improve and optimize dashboards and reporting tools owned by IT.
• Produce ad hoc reports to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities within each Sales leader's organization.
• Provide customized analysis and recommendations to optimize sales team performance.
• Analyze lead performance metrics and support lead generation and distribution efforts.
• Process Documentation & Improvement:
• Document data sources, processes, and methodologies specific to Sales Operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to their implementation.
• Identify and implement scalable improvements in data processes to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Act as the liaison between Sales Ops and the central Data/IT teams to support larger BI initiatives from a sales lens.
• Participate in the design and iteration of tools and systems that enhance reporting capabilities without directly owning dashboard development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field).
• Experience (1-3 years) in data analysis, data development, or a similar role, preferably with sales data.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights, along with good communication skills for presenting findings.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and comfort working collaboratively.
