Overview : The Sales Coordinator to join our sales team has excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude. The Sales Coordinator play s a critical role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

oGenerate MORE SALES with a focus on providing maximum enterprise profitability.

oPromote and sell all product initiatives.

oMeet all sales objectives.

oAssist with merchandising/marketing plans laid down by the Purchasing Team.

oAlways maintain a clean and organized store front.

oWhen necessary, identify large customers and work with store management to ensure the customers' needs are met with a sense of urgency.

  • Customer Service

oCreate an AMAZING customer experience.

oTreat each workday as a chance to improve our customer service brand.

oCustomer Communication

oGreet ALL customers who walk into the shop or call by phone.

oMaintain consistent and positive customer communication.

oSolve all product issues and concerns.

oProvide relevant marketing materials, info sheets, samples, etc.

Retail Store Operations

  • Cashiering:

oAccurately process customer transactions at the Point of Sale.

oFollow all cashiering protocol laid out in the GreenCoast Cashier Manual to ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate and efficient manner.

oAll cashiers will be held accountable for their actions.

  • Receiving/Stocking/Warehouse:

oReceiving

oAssist with unloading deliveries trucks and inspect goods for defects and damage.

oAssist in all double checking of product orders received.

oCommunicate all issues to management.

oStocking

oAssist with labeling and stocking all products onto the shelves in a timely manner.

oKeep shelves fronted and stocked by frequently reviewing back stock items and moving them to the retail floor.

oAdhere to GCH store layout plans and directives, keeping store in compliance with GCH guidelines.

oWarehouse

oEnsure a culture of safety throughout the organization by following GreenCoast safety policies and procedures.

oReport discrepancies and problems to management.

oAssist in maintenance and installation of in-store displays

oParticipate with any/all cleaning duties to always keep the store in prime condition

  • Warranties & Returns:

oProcess all RMAs in accordance with the internal SOP’s laid out by the Loss Prevention team as well as the guidelines provided by our various vendors.

  • Special Orders

oProcess Special order collects 50% deposit at the register.

oTrack all relevant information onto Special Order Form.

oImmediately instruct the purchaser to place the order.

oOnce Special Oder has been placed, contact customer with ETA.

oOnce the product is received, label and store appropriately and complete the transaction with the customer as soon as possible.

  • Inventory

oAssist in the physical inventory program at your GreenCoast store.

oInventory Cycle Counts: Receive cycle count assignments from management and count through store inventory.

oAssist in discrepancy investigation.

oGlobal Counts: Assist with Global inventory counts as needed.

oTransfers: Help with inventory transfers when needed.

oStale Inventory: Help with identifying stale inventory whenever possible.

oEnsure that all inventory issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales execution on all sales related initiatives and promotions.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales documentation.
  • Response time to customer inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Quality and effectiveness of administrative support provided to the sales team.
  • Contribution to the overall efficiency and productivity of the sales department.

Key Challenges

  • Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sales records and documentation.
  • Maintaining effective communication and coordination with the sales team and other departments.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a retail sales support role preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with event coordination and marketing support is a plus.
